Choose a Practitioner
Barbara Spangler Bell began her Practitioner training in 1982 at Fremont, Calif. Under Dr. Jay Scott Neal and Dr. Raymond Charles Barker. She served as a practioner at this Center for ten years. She then moved to Paradise, Calif. and was a practioner there for 20 years, under Rev. Judith Churchman. In 2012 she moved to the Auburn CA CSL where she resides as a practitioner Emeritus. Having been a practitioner for 33 years.
Rev. Suzanne Grace Rolle has been a student of Religious Science/Science of Mind for 20 years. As a ministerial graduate of the Emerson Theological Institute, she serves as Staff Minister for FCSL. She became a CSL Practitioner in July 2014. Rev. Suzanne is also a certified Quantum Life Coach, NLP Practitioner, certified Meditation teacher, yoga instructor and the founder of GraceYoga Sanctuary. She has served as President and Secretary on the FCSL Board of Trustees and as Volunteer Coordinator. She has facilitated Prosperity Plus classes and many New Thought/SOM classes and workshops, leads Spirit in Nature hikes, seasonal Drum Circles, and conducts the monthly Wednesday evening Healing Meditation Service. Rev. Suzanne also serves on the Centers for Spiritual Living – World Ministry of Prayer team. She is honored and grateful to be of sacred service and hold the high watch for the FCSL community.
Pixie Dufour has been a member of this church for almost 20 years, and a Practitioner since 2000. Her own healing from serious health issues is what initially brought her to the Foothill Center for Spiritual Living.
Pixie has participated as a member of our Board of Trustees, is the co-director of the children’s church, volunteers her time to greet those new to our church community, and serves as Practitioner at all times. She also teaches classes, including the 4T class and a class called the Five Gifts.
Richard Huston, RScP, has been a Science of Mind member for last 15 years, became a practitioner in 2014, and has served on the board of trustees for CSL Santa Rosa CA, Foothill Center for Spiritual Living Auburn CA, and CSL Central Texas, Austin, TX. He previously attended Unity Church for 13 years and became a Master Prosperity Teacher while working with Edwene Gaines and Burt Carson. Richard is currently a practitioner at the Foothill CSL and a member of CSL Kauai.
Richard Huston, RScP
Peter Rolita, RScP, has been a member of Foothill Center for Spiritual Living for five years. When he joined the foothill community, he began to take classes immediately and became a practitioner in July of 2017. Peter has worked in the healthcare field for 30 years and has state certifications as a Certified Nurse Assistant, a Certified Home Health Aide, and a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Peter completed his Associate Degree from American River College and also received a Certificate of Completion for the Gerontology Program. Peter currently works as a hospice aide for Kaiser Permanente in Roseville and lives in Carmichael, CA. Peter had the honor of working with a Practitioner and Her Husband who introduced him to the teachings of Ernest Holmes before making their transitions one year apart . Peter is a member of the LGBTQ community and is honored to be on the board of directors for Prime Timers of Sacramento and Servant Hearts of Fair Oaks, CA.
Peter Rolita, RScP
Joy Day has been a student of personal realization for several decades. She has gleaned wisdom from such teachers as Wayne Dyer, Louise Hay, and Abraham Hicks. In 2009, Joy attended her first Centers for Spiritual Living in Grass Valley, CA. The teachings of New Thought, Ernest Holmes, and affirmative prayer were “home” for Joy from that moment on. Joy became a Practitioner in July 2017, at Foothill Centers for Spiritual Living. Becoming a Practitioner was a natural progression to the 18 years of service in the healing arts field which include massage, Reiki, colon hydrotherapy, and quantum biofeedback. Joy has facilitated classes, book studies, and workshops using the techniques of Byron Katie, A Course in Miracles, and The Way of Mastery. Joy is grateful to be a member of Foothill Center for Spiritual Living and is honored to be a Religious Science Certified Practitioner.
Maryellen has been a member of FSCL since 2012 and became a Practitioner in July of 2017. She has served on the Board of Trustees, the Audio Visual Team and is active as a volunteer wherever needed. Maryellen has always been a follower of Science of the Mind philosophy but did not find Centers for Spiritual Living until moving to Auburn in 2012. From the moment she walked into the Center she knew that she had come home. Maryellen has a background in Special Education and Teaching English as a Second Language. She is currently retired but works and volunteers at the State Theatre in Auburn.
